For some reason people say it’s not polite to mention their name but I think you have to know it because it’s the fact. They are WebHostingHub and Imotion!
As we all know, they are big player in the web hosting business but still their security not that good. So, are you still thinking that your web hosting company is secure enough? Think again!
Security is one of the most important aspects why you should choose a certain web hosting, even more important than the price itself (please read how to find the best hosting service if you want to know the detail aspects in choosing a web hosting service). Can you imagine that losing your important in just several seconds? I can’t! Better to spend couple penny than losing the data, don’t you think so?
I think the best solution for this problem is to do manual back up regularly. This way you can make sure your data is save. But of course this way is quite time consuming. Fortunately, I found this amazing blog Consumer Rankings. This is a blog which perform in depth analysis in comparing the service that is provided by leading web hosting company. I thought my hosting company was secure. I just assumed they knew what they are doing. I woke up on Sunday morning to find that all my sites had been hacked. They’d gained access to my webhosts server and although they fixed the problem and updated their security, it’s cost me days of work and traffic. I really upset but glad that I at least have my sites back.
I hope that your experience can be useful for other readers too.
