When we invest our money for a new business, such as buying a franchise for minimart, we need to invest quite big amount of money and the return of investment (ROI) time needs several years. In contrast, when we develop something related to Information Technology, the ROI time is shorter. I’ve experienced one in developing certain sites and try to monetize it. Within a year, I could get the capital back and start generating passive income.
If you have money and a big interest in investing your money in Information Technology (IT), you can do that. You don’t need to know the technical things about software and hardware in detail. But, you need to know and understand what customers want and/or need. If you don’t have any idea at all, you can try to visit several sties that provide it and read many great ideas related to IT and choose several projects in which you’ll invest your money.
Luckily for you as the investors, the probability of you choose the wrong project to invest is very small unless you decide to be its own investor. The project creator should wait sometime to collect the minimum capital to begin the project. If many people eager to put their money on that project, it’s a good sign that the project is good enough to be monetized in the future.
On the other hand, if you’re people that love developing either desktop or web based application, but you don’t have capital yet, you can try to make a proposal for the project that you’ll develop. You can also ask your friends’ to join the project since everybody has different specialty. In the proposal, you should be able to impress the investors to put their money in your project. Don’t forget to include the explanations how to make money from your project.
